Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our night shift team. This full-time position involves 36 hours per week from 7p to 7a, providing patient-centered nursing care across diverse populations.

You will implement the nursing process, develop care plans with patients and designated care partners, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safety, quality, and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program committed to patient- and family-centered care.
• Current PA RN license and active licensure.
• BLS certification and knowledge of basic life support.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Proficiency in patient assessment and care planning.
• Experience in discharge planning and care coordination.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patients, families, and staff to deliver high-quality nursing care.
• Partners with patients to identify learning needs and provide education.
• Uses information systems to document care and monitor patient outcomes.
• Functions within inter-professional teams to ensure safe, compassionate care.
• Participates in committees focused on safety and quality improvement.
• Supports staff development and acts as a preceptor when appropriate.
