Job summary

Northern Nevada Medical Center, a part of Universal Health Services, Inc., is a 124-bed acute care facility in Sparks, NV. This RN on the Medical/Telemetry Unit provides safe, compassionate care on a night shift, with full benefits.

We seek a dynamic Medical/Telemetry Nurse (RN) with strong patient-centered care and teamwork skills to support patient care on our telemetry unit and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current Nevada nursing license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certificates.
• Must have 1 year of full-time or 3 years of part-time experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Involves patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and diversity needs in care assessment.
• Develops and implements the plan of care using nursing knowledge and skill; coordinates direct and indirect patient care activities.
• Coordinates interdisciplinary care plan and develops goals, treatment plans, and discharge plans.
