Job summary

Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med Surg Telemetry unit (5 West) on a full-time dayshift. You will perform patient assessments, care planning, medication administration, and telemetry monitoring while guiding patient and family education.

Qualifications include ASN/BSN and at least one year of hospital experience, Maryland RN license (compact allowed with restrictions), and BLS.

Qualifications

• ASN or BSN in Nursing is required.
• Minimum of one year of hospital experience.
• Current Maryland RN license; compact-state license accepted with conditions.
• Basic Life Support; Magnet certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and plan individualized care.
• Administer medications and monitor cardiac rhythms.
• Educate patients and families and support discharge planning.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe recovery and continuity of care.
