University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Full-Time Day Shift Registered Nurse (RN) to join our 3 South Telemetry Unit, providing continuous cardiac monitoring and med-surg support to a high-performing team.

You will perform patient assessments, care planning, medication administration, and coordinate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, evidence-based care while educating patients and families.

Formación

• Valid RN license in Maryland or Compact eligibility.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum of two years acute care RN experience in Med/Surg or Telemetry.
• Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation and appropriate intervention.

The University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Full-Time Day Shift Registered Nurse (RN) to join our 3 South Telemetry Unit. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative acute care team committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care.

In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and medical-surgical support. Your responsibilities will include patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, monitoring changes in patient conditions, and coordinating care with an interdisciplinary team. Your clinical judgment and expertise will help ensure safe, evidence-based care while providing education and support to patients and their families.

Full-Time Day Shift:

3 × 12-Hour Shifts 7:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. Every Other Weekend & Rotating Holidays

Ability to demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s requirements relative to his or her population-specific and age specific needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Licensure & Experience

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Maryland or Compact eligibility in accordance with MBON, required.
• Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of recent acute care Registered Nurse experience within a Med/Surg and/or Telemetry unit, required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation, including recognition of critical arrhythmias and appropriate clinical intervention, required.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Compensation

• Pay Range: $42.35 - $57.40 per hour.
