Job summary

Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD is hiring a Registered Nurse for Med Surg Telemetry (5 West). This full-time dayshift role runs 72 hours biweekly, 630am–7pm, with a sign-on bonus up to $10,000.

The RN will provide patient-centered care for medical/surgical patients with telemetry monitoring, collaborating with the care team to ensure safe recovery. Minimum ASN/BSN, at least 1 year hospital experience, Maryland RN license (or compact state) is required; Magnet-recognized certification

Qualifications

• Education: ASN or higher; BSN preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of one year in a hospital setting.
• Licensure/Certification: Maryland RN license or compact state license; Magnet-recognized advanced certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and plan care.
• Administer medications and monitor cardiac rhythms.
• Educate patients and families; ensure discharge readiness.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to promote safe recovery.
