Job summary

Corewell Health Trenton Hospital seeks a Clinical Nurse for the Intermediate Care Unit (IMC), a 24-bed unit with telemetry monitoring. The RN provides professional care for patients aged 15 and older under the ANA framework and under the direction of the Nurse Leader.

ACLS certification within 6 months is required, with a BSN within 5 years and Michigan RN licensure. The position offers a full-time night shift with 36 hours weekly and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing required.
• Bachelors in Nursing required within 5 years.
• Graduates from a non-accredited school of nursing must have at least one year of acute care experience or two years in a licensed health care role and must pass NCLEX.
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• BLS required upon hire by recognized organization.
• ACLS required within 6 months.
• Specialty Certification highly recommended within 2 years.
• 1 year of experience as an RN in the IC.

Responsibilities

• Apply patient-family centered care principles.
