Job summary

Trinity Health Ann Arbor is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 5 North Medicine unit on a 12-hour night shift. The role focuses on medical observation, stroke, and general medicine with telemetry capabilities, emphasizing patient-centered care and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Qualified candidates will have Michigan RN licensure, BCLS, and ACLS when required for certain departments; BSN is preferred with a commitment to obtaining it within five years. Experience welcomed from Canadian RNs.

Qualifications

• RN license in Michigan with current BLS; ACLS required for select units.
• BSN preferred; must obtain BSN within five years if hired as RN.
• Canadian RNs encouraged to apply; strong nursing theory and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and analyzes patient information.
• Develops, implements, evaluates and revises an individualized plan of care.
• Uses teach-back to educate patient and family.
• Communicates patient status, goals and interventions during rounds and handoffs.
• Adheres to HIPAA policies and the hospital mission and values.
