Job summary

Michigan Medicine’s 7A unit on University Hospital provides telemetry-enabled care for internal medicine/telemetry patients. Night shifts are 7:00pm–7:30am with every other weekend; hybrid/remote work may be available per department.

The role emphasizes leadership, supervision of staff, and high-quality patient care. The position requires Michigan RN licensure (NCLEX), with GN options, BSN preferred, and strong communication/time-management skills.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan RN license (NCLEX completed)
• GN applicants may apply; must obtain Michigan RN licensure within 45 days of hire
• Resume must be attached for consideration

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care to medically complex patients using the nursing process
• Direct supervision of unlicensed personnel
• Utilize bedside report, geographical nursing and hourly rounding
