Job summary

The Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care across all ages in the designated unit. You will guide LPNs and other nursing staff, administer medications, and collaborate with medical staff to support patient care aligned with hospital goals.

Graduate of an accredited nursing program with Texas RN license and BLS certification is required; no prior experience is necessary.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in the State of Texas
• BLS certification
• Unit specific competencies obtained within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care to patients across age groups.
• Directs Licensed Vocational Nurses and non-licensed nursing staff in care delivery.
• Supports medical staff under direction of the medical team.
• Maintains documentation of patient care and unit activities per standards.
• Clarifies orders or treatment plans with licensed practitioners when needed.
• Implements nursing interventions to stabilize patients and prevent complications.
