Qualifikationen

• Knows and conforms to the Nurse Practice Act for the State of Texas; provides individualized, goal-directed, nursing care.
• Delegates tasks to unlicensed personnel with safety considerations per Texas Nurse Practice Act.
• Implements measures to promote a safe environment and administer medications accurately.
• Maintains documentation of patient care and unit activities per standards.
• Clarifies orders/therapies when unclear and communicates with licensed practitioners.

Aufgaben

• The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care to patients of any age group and guides Licensed Vocational Nurses and other nursing staff.
• Supports the medical care of patients under the direction of the Medical Staff.
• Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
• Installs nursing interventions to stabilize a patient’s condition and prevent complications.
