Job summary

Baptist Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care across acute settings in our facility in Texas. The role emphasizes matching patient needs with nurse competencies, while completing required orientation competencies.

Applicants should have a nursing degree from an accredited program, Texas RN licensure, and be prepared to complete BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and STABLE within specified timeframes to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Active Basic Life Support required at hire, or within 60 days of hire (BLS).
• ACLS required within 60 days of hire/transfer (Adult Critical Care, Telemetry, ICU).
• PALS required within 60 days of hire/transfer (Pedi ICU).
• NRP required within 60 days of hire/transfer (NICU).
• S.T.A.B.L.E. for NICU Level 2, 6 months to obtain/renew.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for assigned patients under minimal supervision.
• Complete established competencies within introductory period.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
