Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Telemetry 2 (Tele2) unit at Mercy St. Louis. This part-time role offers 24 hours per week in a fast-paced telemetry environment focused on high-acuity cardiac care.

You will monitor cardiac rhythms, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions. Applicants should have an RN license in the hiring state and BLS certification; telemetry experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduated from a nursing program (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Certifications: BLS certification or completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient-centered care in a telemetry setting.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and clinical changes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans.
• Manage patients with moderate to high acuity needs.
