Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med Telemetry Observation unit on the 4th Floor, University City campus. This 36-hour-per-week, full-time position runs from 7a to 7p, with benefits eligibility and a competitive pay range.

The RN applies the nursing process, collaborates with the care team, maintains documentation, and adheres to professional standards. BSN preferred; BLS and RN license required; experience 1 year typical.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license valid for practice in relevant state(s).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans with the care team.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation.
• May float to other units as needed and adhere to safety and ethics.
