Job summary

Atrium Health’s Medical Telemetry Unit (4th Floor) at University City is a 31-bed acute care unit delivering patient-centered care with a 4:1 to 5:1 RN-to-patient ratio. The RN provides evidence-based, safe, and compassionate care while engaging patients and families in the care continuum.

This role requires an RN license with BLS, typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience, and a BSN or RN program graduate.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) served; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Engage in professional governance and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Use nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• Float to other units within service area as needed.
