Job summary

Prime Healthcare Olympia Fields Hospital in Olympia Fields, IL, seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Telemetry unit. You will provide direct patient care, monitor cardiac status, and collaborate with physicians to respond to changes in patient condition.

Requirements include an active RN license, BLS and ACLS; BSN preferred. Full-time days shifts, 7:00am–7:30pm, with a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain.
• Basic Arrhythmia interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain.
• Previous acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator management experience preferred.
• RN-BC or similar certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Provide direct patient care within scope of practice and guide patient/family education.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physicians and respond quickly to changes in condition.
