Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, IL seeks a Temporary Internal Registry RN for the Telemetry unit on the Day Shift. This 12-week assignment may extend based on clinical needs. Compensation is $60 per hour.

The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, coordinate with physicians, and guide teaching for patients and families while maintaining Telemetry standards. Current RN license, BLS, ACLS within timelines are required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certificate on hire and maintained.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• Acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator management experience preferred.
• RN-BC or equivalent certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Provide direct patient care and supervise patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing staff.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in cardiac status, test results, and symptoms.
• Respond quickly to changes in condition and treatment response.
