Job summary

McLaren Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 2 E Telemetry department. The RN coordinates delivery of nursing care for monitored patients during hospital stays, including cardiac monitoring, hemodynamic stabilization, and adherence to evidence-based practice.

The role ensures quality care in alignment with state and center standards. Responsibilities include hourly rounding, applying the nursing process, and delivering direct and indirect care in a telemetry setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must possess valid State of Michigan Nursing License.
• BLS certified.
• ACLS certified within 6 months of hire.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate professionally.

Responsibilities

• Performs purposeful hourly rounding including pain, position, personal needs and possessions.
• Applies the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and discharge needs of patient/family.
• Provides professional direct and indirect patient care in the medical-surgical telemetry setting.
