Job summary

McLaren Health Care seeks a registered nurse for the 2 E Telemetry unit in Michigan. The RN coordinates nursing care for monitored inpatients, including cardiac monitoring and hemodynamic stabilization during hospital stays.

The role is full-time, requiring Michigan RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS within 6 months. BSN preferred and Basic Arrhythmia certification is desirable, with emphasis on excellent patient service and communication.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must possess valid State of Michigan Nursing License.
• BLS certified.
• ACLS certified within 6 months of hire.
• Possesses excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate and present self to patient, visitors, other staff and physicians verbally and in writing in courteous, confident and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional direct and indirect patient care in the medical-surgical telemetry setting.
• Applies the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and discharge needs of patient/family.
• Performs purposeful hourly rounding including: Pain, Position, Personal needs and Possessions.
