Job summary

McLaren Health Care in Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate nursing care for monitored patients in the 2 E Telemetry unit, including cardiac monitoring, hemodynamic stabilization and evidence-based practice. You will apply the nursing process, ensure patient safety, privacy and rights, and participate in direct patient care in a medical-surgical telemetry setting.

Requires MI RN license, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, BSN preferred; schedule: 7:00 am–7:30 pm, 72 hours per biweekly

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must possess valid State of Michigan Nursing License.
• BLS certified.
• ACLS certified within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs purposeful hourly rounding including: Pain, Position, Personal needs and Possessions.
• Applies the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and discharge needs of patient/family.
• Provides professional direct and indirect patient care in the medical-surgical telemetry setting.
