Job summary

Prime Healthcare in Dallas region seeks a Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for Mesquite, TX. The Tele RN monitors cardiac rhythms, interprets vital signs, and delivers care on telemetry units with a focus on patient safety and timely interventions.

You will collaborate with physicians, administer medications, educate patients and families, and ensure high-quality nursing care using the nursing process. Full-time day shifts and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current and valid state RN license.
• BLS certification required at hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' conditions including vital signs and cardiac rhythms to inform care plans.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in condition and test results.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Provide hands-on care and assist with daily living activities as needed.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, meds, and self-care in telemetry.
