Job summary

Dallas Regional Medical Center in Mesquite, TX is seeking a Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to monitor and treat patients with cardiac conditions in our telemetry units. The Tele RN will interpret vital signs, monitor heart rhythms, and provide hands-on care and patient education to ensure safe, timely care.

This full-time Days shift (12-hour) offers a sign-on bonus of $10,000 and a full benefits package. Required licensure and certifications include an active RN license and BLS; ACLS is a plus,

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate preferred and to be maintained.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' conditions and create individualized care plans.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in the patient’s condition and tests.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Provide hands-on care, wound care, and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, medications, and self-care.
