Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Health System in Fayetteville, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 3 North Medical Telemetry unit to plan and implement professional nursing care in accordance with hospital policies and assume charge nurse responsibilities as assigned.

The role requires an Associate's degree in nursing, NC RN licensure, and a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care on a 22-bed unit with a track schedule.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Current licensure in North Carolina as a Registered Nurse or compact state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements professional nursing care for patients in accordance with hospital policies.
• Assumes charge nurse responsibilities as assigned.
• Establishes collaborative interdisciplinary relationships with other Health System staff and medical staff.
• Monitors the quality of care based on pre-established outcome-oriented indicators.
• Acts to ensure patient care is properly documented and charged.

Education

Associate's degree in nursing
