Job summary

USA Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care and act as Charge Nurse when assigned. You will supervise staff, adhere to policies, and ensure accurate documentation and patient education.

Responsibilities include CPR, infection control, and coordination with physicians and families. Alabama licensure and BCLS are required, with NIH Stroke Scale certification within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• RN licensure in Alabama or compact state required at hire.
• BCLS certification obtained within 30 days of hire.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care according to policies and Nurse Practice Act.
• Supervise and coordinate care by licensed and non-licensed staff as charge nurse when needed.
• Demonstrate CPR per American Heart Association standards and document care accurately.
• Maintain infection control, safety standards, and patient confidentiality.
• Educate patients and families, and communicate with the healthcare team effectively.
• Utilize hospital information systems for charting and orders.
