Job summary

Holy Cross Hospital – West Valley is seeking a registered nurse to join our telemetry unit. You will assess and address the physical, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients, collaborate with the healthcare team, and promote safe, high-quality care in a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• RN license in state of employment
• Associates degree in nursing or equivalent
• Comfort with delivering patient education and care in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs; evaluate response and intervene for optimal outcomes.
• Develop and implement patient care plans with interdisciplinary team; monitor outcomes.
• Demonstrate competency in IVs, wound care, medications, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Maintain accurate patient charts and use IT to communicate, manage knowledge, and support decisions.
• Advocate for patient safety and rights; promote health and safety.
• Provide education to patients and families based on assessed learning needs.
