Job summary

Keck Medicine of USC Arcadia Hospital is seeking a clinically competent registered nurse to provide safe, therapeutic care to acutely ill medical/surgical patients and maternal-child health patients. You will use the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation within an interdisciplinary team.

The role requires California RN licensure, ACLS/BLS/NIHSS certifications, and 1 year of acute care experience preferred. Demonstrated IRAISE values in patient care are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in nursing is required; Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.
• Current RN licensure in California is required; ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications are required.
• One-year acute care experience is preferred.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, implement and evaluate the care for each patient.
• Direct care provided by LVN, CNA, nursing students or logistics staff as allowed by licensure and competency.
• Participate in organization-wide Performance Improvement activities and quality planning.
• Demonstrate IRAISE values in all patient care interactions.
