Job summary

The University of Southern California Arcadia Hospital seeks a clinically competent registered nurse to provide safe, therapeutic care for acutely ill medical/surgical patients and maternal-child health cases. You will adhere to nursing standards and support the unit team to promote unity and positive working relationships.

Qualifications

• RN license in California required.
• ACLS certification required when appropriate.
• BLS certification required.
• NIHSS certification required.
• One year acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, implement, and evaluate nursing care for each patient.
• Coordinate with LVN, CNA, nursing students, and logistics staff as needed.
• Participate in organization-wide Performance Improvement and quality activities.
• Demonstrate IRAISE values in all patient care interactions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager/Director.
