Job summary

Atrium Health Lincoln is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit position. The role supports adult patients with acute and chronic conditions in a fast-paced 38-bed unit.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and provide evidence-based nursing care in a 36-hour weekly schedule of three 12-hour night shifts. Requirements include graduation from a Board of Nursing approved program and BLS.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking.
• Experience with nursing processes and patient care planning.
• Proficiency in electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care, engaging patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies per protocols.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units as needed.
• Demonstrates age-specific patient care with unit standards.
