Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Current BLS certificate (on hire and maintain).
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire (maintain current).
• Prior acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator management experience preferred.
• RN-BC or similar certification preferred.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in the Telemetry Unit.
• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicate with the physician about changes in patient condition and treatment responses.
