Prime Healthcare seeks a Clinical Nursing Supervisor for Holy Family - LTACH in Des Plaines, IL. This per diem, day-shift role supports the Medical Surgical Telemetry department leadership, coordinating staff, training, and performance improvement initiatives.

You must hold a valid RN license; BSN preferred, with BLS and ACLS on hire, and at least two years of clinical nursing experience with supervisory exposure. Per diem schedule offers competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state Registered Nurse license.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience; supervisory/leadership preferred.
• Critical Care RN (CCRN) certificate preferred for ICU.
• NRP required within 90 days after hire; professional certification within 2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support administrative responsibility for the department and work with the unit Director/Manager.
• Oversee department plans, orientation, and staff training for performance improvement.
• Communicate with staff, physicians, and administration in writing and verbally.
• Ensure efficient department operations and appropriate use of time, equipment, and staff.
• Perform direct patient care as needed within the scope of practice.
• Direct staff during shifts and continually assess and adjust care plans as needed.
