Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC is seeking an experienced RN to deliver professional nursing care, participate as a charge nurse, and coordinate care across a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include assessment, planning, medication administration, documentation, and adapting care to adult and geriatric patients while supporting patients' cultural and spiritual needs.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or equivalent required.
• Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current North Carolina RN licensure or Compact state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and identify care needs.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Administer medications as ordered by physician.
• Maintain accurate patient records and care plans.
• Act as charge nurse as assigned and ensure safety.
• Collaborate with health-system and medical staff.
• Monitor care quality and charge considerations.
• Support age-specific and cultural needs of patients.
• Float to other Med Surg units as needed.
