Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current NC RN license or Compact state licensure.
• Clinical Ladder packet and approval for RN II/III/IV.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient care needs and plans appropriate care.
• Plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care.
• Administers medication as ordered by physician.
• Maintains required competencies and patient records.
• Establishes collaborative relationships with staff and physicians.
• Monitors care quality using outcome indicators.
• Supports age-specific needs and cultural/spiritual beliefs.
• Acts as charge nurse as assigned.
