Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• Current North Carolina RN licensure or Compact state licensure
• Clinical Ladder packet and RN II/III/IV approval

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs and plan individualized nursing care
• Use assessment data to organize appropriate care
• Plan, implement and evaluate patient care
• Maintain a safe patient environment and infection control
• Act as charge nurse when assigned
• Maintain accurate patient care records
• Administer medications as ordered by physician
• Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations
• Collaborate with health system staff and medical teams
• Monitor care quality based on outcome indicators
• Participate in cost containment and accurate charging for services
• Care for patients across age-specific needs and cultural beliefs
• Perform other duties as assigned
