Interim HealthCare Inc. in Fort Wayne, IN seeks an experienced Telemetry PCU RN for a 13-week contract at a local hospital. The role focuses on high-acuity PCU/step-down patients, with shift on night duty and guaranteed 36 hours per week.

You will monitor cardiac rhythms, administer IV and cardiac meds, collaborate with physicians and therapists, maintain documentation, and participate in ongoing education. BLS/ACLS, Indiana RN license required; Neuro and cardiac experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Indiana with compact license considered.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years in Step-down, Med/Tele or PCU settings.
• Cardiac and Neuro experience preferred; strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to PCU/step-down patients during a 13-week contract.
• Assess conditions, monitor rhythms, vitals, oxygenation, and escalate as needed.
• Administer IV and cardiac medications per orders and protocols.
• Monitor telemetry and provide non-invasive respiratory support when required.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, pharmacists, and care teams.
• Document timely electronic records and maintain infection control standards.
• Support patient education and family needs; maintain professionalism on shift.
• Respond promptly to deterioration and communicate with the team.
