Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse (RN) in Fort Wayne, Indiana for an Evening & Night shift on a 13-week contract. You will deliver critical care, monitor patients, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.

The ideal candidate holds an Indiana RN license, BLS and ACLS, with 1.5–2 years ICU experience and the ability to work independently while remaining calm under pressure. Local facility compliance and continuous education are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license or Compact license in Indiana.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• 1.5–2 years ICU experience as required by the facility.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Active BLS, TB test, and other medical compliance as required by the facility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver critical care nursing in a high-acuity ICU during a 13-week contract.
• Assess patient condition, monitor rhythms and vital signs, respond to emergencies.
• Administer IV meds, vasopressors, sedation, blood products per orders.
• Operate ventilators, cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, life-support systems.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain electronic documentation and infection control standards.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts.
• Participate in continuing education and maintain compliance.
• 1:1 or 1:2 on ICU side and 1:3 or 1:4 on step down side.
