Job summary

Interim HealthCare Staffing in Fort Wayne, IN seeks an experienced Telemetry PCU RN for a 13-week night shift contract at a local hospital. You will deliver high-quality nursing care in a high-acuity PCU/Step-Down setting, monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs and oxygenation, and administer medications per orders.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Indiana (Compact accepted)
• BLS & ACLS certifications are required
• 2 years of recent PCU/Tele/Step-Down experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in a high-acuity PCU/Step-Down setting during a 13-week contract.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs and oxygenation; respond to changes promptly.
• Administer IV meds, cardiac meds, anticoagulants, and other therapies per orders.
• Monitor telemetry and provide advanced interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists and interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans.
• Maintain accurate electronic documentation and ensure infection control standards.
