Job summary

The University of Maryland Medical System is seeking a Full Time Night Shift Patient Care Technician I (CNA) for the 3 South Telemetry unit. You will provide direct patient care under RN supervision, monitor vital signs, assist with mobility, and support daily unit operations in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Requirements include a valid MBON CNA license, AHA BLS, at least 1 year of hospital experience, and availability for night shifts, weekends, and rotating holidays.

Qualifications

• CNA license in good standing with MBON.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of hospital or acute care experience.
• Full-time availability including every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with direct patient care activities.
• Monitor vital signs and support daily living activities.
• Document patient information and report changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain a safe, clean patient care environment per regulations.
• Support coordinators and nurses in care planning and workflow.
