Job summary

The University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center is hiring a Full-Time Night Shift Registered Nurse to join our Telemetry team. This role involves continuous cardiac monitoring and compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Requirements include an active Maryland RN license or eligibility, BLS certification, and a minimum of two years of acute care RN experience. Night shift 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Maryland or eligibility to practice under MBON requirements.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Minimum of two (2) years of recent acute care RN experience.
• Full-time availability, including rotating weekends and holidays.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide telemetry nursing care with continuous cardiac monitoring.
• Assess, plan, coordinate, and deliver safe, evidence-based care.
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary care team.
• Learn and use computer systems to manage patient information.
• Participate in team-building efforts and support unit teamwork.
