Job summary

Temple Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant for Telemetry at Fox Chase Cancer Center, part-time night shift. The role supports the RN and unlicensed nursing staff with delegated patient care activities in a high-acuity telemetry unit.

Education includes a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an approved Nursing Assistant program, or current nursing student with clinical rotations. BLS is required; CNA preferred. Supervision is provided by the Nurse Manager."

Qualifications

• Trade School Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant Program
• Nursing student with satisfactory completion of at least one clinical rotation Required

Responsibilities

• Assists the RN by performing patient care activities delegated to the unlicensed nursing support staff as well as additional specific functions for which he/she has been prepared.
• Incorporates the concepts of the Hospital’s Customer Service Program into all aspects of patient care activities.
• Accountable to the Nurse Manager or designee for all activities.
