Job summary

Trinity Health’s St. Mary Medical Center in Bucks County is seeking a Nurse Assistant to provide direct patient care in the MG3 Telemetry unit during the night shift. You will support RNs, assist with admissions, and ensure patient safety and comfort in a 26-bed telemetry setting.

Responsibilities include feeding patients, collecting specimens, performing routine tasks, and maintaining clean, stocked rooms. A CNA registry or clinical rotations plus BLS are required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• PA Nurse Aide Registry (CNA) or completed clinical rotations in accredited nursing program required.
• 1 year of relevant experience and/or EMT in lieu of certification/rotation.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care under RN guidance and physician orders.
• Prepare patient rooms and stock supplies for admissions and discharges.
• Assist with feeding, intake/output recording, and dysphasia precautions.
• Collect specimens (urine, clean catch, foley, stools) as directed.
• Apply heat/cold packs and basic orthopedic devices; support safe patient handling.
• Participate in hourly rounding to enhance patient safety and comfort.
• Escalate conflicts to the Nurse Manager as needed.
