Job summary

Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro in San Pedro, CA, is seeking a Nursing Assistant for telemetry on a full-time, night-shift schedule (12-hour shifts). Requirements include CNA program graduate or equivalent, and BLS upon hire; preferred hospital experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited CNA or Nursing Assistant program or equivalent education/experience.
• Completion of 2nd semester of accredited Nursing Program; HHA with 1-2 years experience.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 1 year of Nurse Assistant experience in a hospital or post-acute setting (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform delegated tasks including vital signs, EKGs, basic patient care and transportation.
• Respond to patient and family needs with age-appropriate care per unit scope.
• Work under the direct supervision of an RN and collaborate with the care team.
