Methodist Hospital Stone Oak in San Antonio, TX, is seeking a Nurse Manager of Telemetry. The role oversees staffing and delivery of patient care across units, partnering with leadership to maintain high standards of care and drive continuous improvement.

The incumbent manages personnel, ensures compliance with internal and external standards, and supports the hospital’s mission and vision through effective resource use and collaboration with physicians, staff, and patients.

Qualifications

• Three years clinical acute care RN experience.
• One year management experience.
• Current license to practice professional registered nursing in the state of Texas.

Responsabilités

• Builds and maintains a high functioning team. Provides leadership and direction for staffing their unit(s) in accordance with organizational goals.
• Manages personnel including interviewing, work allocation, orientation and training, staff development, problem resolution, evaluating performance, making recommendations for personnel actions, and motivation of employees to achieve peak performance.
• Plans, organizes, facilitates and directs patient care on the unit 24 hours a day in accordance with internal and external standards.
• Develops and oversees the departmental scope of services and care.
• Develops and implements policies and procedures related to the nursing specialty and integrates standards of care into unit operations.
• Directs processes to assess, improve and maintain the quality of patient care according to the hospital plan for quality improvement.
