Methodist Hospital Metropolitan in San Antonio, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Nurse in Med Surg Telemetry to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. You will collaborate with the care team, document thoroughly, and participate in initiatives that improve patient outcomes and nursing practice.

Responsibilities include assessing patient status on admission and each shift, administering medications, educating patients and families, and advocating for safe, effective care.

Qualifications

• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN license (Registered Nurse) is required.
• Associate Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree, or RN Diploma.
• Minimum 6 months experience as a Licensed Registered Nurse.

Responsabilités

• Assess the patient’s condition during admission and each shift, reporting changes promptly.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor response, and document care in the medical record.
• Provide exceptional care by promptly responding to patient requests and anticipating needs.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, medications, and follow-up care, translating medical terms as needed.

Associate Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
