Job summary

Emory Healthcare is seeking a Nurse Manager to lead nursing and clinical teams, overseeing daily operations and patient care across the continuum. The role reports to the Director of Patient Care Service and emphasizes clinical excellence, safety, and cost-effective care.

You will drive staff development, implement evidence-based practice, and manage performance, quality, and regulatory compliance while Aligning with Magnet model principles.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Minimum of five (5) total years of professional nursing practice in acute and/or ambulatory care; at least two (2) years in lead/ supervisory roles.
• Active RN license in Georgia; multistate/in-state license acceptable; eNLC compact license required within 60 days if overseeing virtual care.
• BLS certification required; ACLS may be necessary depending on specialty; other certifications may be required by department.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and commitment to quality, safety, and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing and clinical teams to ensure daily clinical and operational excellence.
• Drive quality, safety, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Oversee staffing, onboarding, competency assessment, and staff development.
• Manage resources, budget, throughput, and patient care delivery with Magnet model adherence.
• Promote inclusive culture, staff well-being, and professional growth.
• Provide ongoing education and guidance to staff on clinical standards and best practices.
