Job summary

Emerson Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager for the Medical/Telemetry/Stroke North 6 unit to lead daily nursing operations and ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. You will direct staffing, resources, and regulatory compliance while maintaining excellent patient outcomes.

You will report to the Associate Chief Nursing Officer and provide administrative supervision as needed, with on-site responsibilities and a day shift schedule.

Qualifications

• BSN is required.
• Master's in Nursing is preferred.
• Current MA RN license and BLS certification required.
• Clinical specialty certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for safe, effective, high-quality professional nursing care.
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels and skill mix to meet patient care needs.
• Manage human and fiscal resources effectively and responsibly.
• Ensure nursing teams have equipment, supplies, and resources to provide quality care.
• Monitor and support quality outcomes, patient satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.
• Promote a positive, collaborative environment for nurses and the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with patients, families, medical staff, hospital administration, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient, employee, and organizational information.
• Serve as Administrative Supervisor as needed to support clinical operations.
• In absence of the Administrator On Call, act as Incident Commander during emergencies until AOC arrives onsite.
