Job summary

Heywood-Hospital in Gardner, MA is seeking an experienced registered nurse for night shift—32 hours per week, 11:00pm to 7:30am, every other holiday and every third weekend. A generous sign-on bonus of up to $30,000 is available for eligible candidates.

You will provide patient care based on standards, participate in rounds, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support safe, effective care and discharge planning. MA RN license and BLS/ACLS are required or obtainable within 60 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 1 year Med/Surg experience preferred.
• Telemetry and pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care and patient goals.
• Provide care per standards, protocols, and policies.
• Document thoroughly and report to care team for continuity.
• Mentor and precept colleagues; participate in rounds.
• Safely manage medications and pain control; monitor vitals.
