Job summary

Heywood Hospital in Gardner, MA is seeking a Telemetry RN to provide skilled nursing care during 7:00pm–7:30am shifts (3 x 12-hour shifts weekly). The role requires interpreting cardiac rhythms, administering IV therapy, and coordinating care with physicians for telemetry patients.

The ideal candidate holds a MA RN license with ACLS or BLS and has med-surge/telemetry experience; MOAB class is required within 60 days. Great benefits accompany this 36-hour assignment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• MOAB class required within 60 days of hire.
• 1 year med-surge experience preferred.
• ACLS upon hire OR must hold an active BLS card, and obtain ACLS within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care based on standards of care and policies.
• Interprets patient rhythm strips and responds to findings.
• Documents data accurately and communicates with the health care team.
• Participates in daily rounds and patient education.
• Administers medications and IV therapy per orders.
