The Monitor Technician role at Community Health Systems, Inc. involves continuous surveillance of telemetry monitors to assess and document patient cardiac rhythms.

You will identify arrhythmias, communicate findings to the healthcare team, and ensure monitoring equipment is functional and correctly configured. You'll support patient safety and efficient care delivery by promptly notifying staff of rhythm changes, troubleshooting equipment, and maintaining proper lead placement and documentation

Qualifications

• Telemetry or EKG interpretation course completed during orientation.
• 0–2 years of clerical and/or clinical experience in a medical setting.

Responsabilités

• Continuously observe and interpret telemetry monitors and record rhythm strips.
• Identify rhythm changes and notify licensed personnel.
• Communicate with healthcare team to coordinate care.
• Troubleshoot monitoring equipment and escalate as needed.
• Ensure proper setup and lead placement for telemetry.
• Maintain attendance and comply with policies.
