• Telemetry/EKG interpretation course completed during orientation period.
• 0–2 years of clerical and/or clinical experience in a medical setting.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor telemetry for continuous surveillance of patient rhythms and document rhythm strips at set intervals.
• Identify rhythm changes and promptly notify the nurse or licensed personnel of potentially life-threatening arrhythmias.
• Communicate effectively with peers, staff, physicians and leaders to coordinate care.
• Troubleshoot and resolve monitoring equipment issues, escalate unresolved problems to Bio-med or IT as directed.
• Organize and track monitoring equipment during shifts and configure for admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Ensure proper lead placement and electrode application for optimal telemetry monitoring.
• Maintain regular attendance and comply with policies and standards.
