Mercyhealth Wisconsin and Illinois is seeking a Unit Clerk Monitor Technician for the Telemetry Unit. You will monitor cardiac rhythms, identify abnormalities, and communicate with the nursing team to support safe, efficient patient care.

This role requires strong attention to detail and effective communication. Schedule is 3, 12-hour shifts per week on nights, with duties including documentation, order processing, and coordinating unit operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of Unit Clerk course or on-the-job training.
• Ability to read and interpret cardiac rhythms preferred.

Responsabilités

• Review patient information to determine normal rhythm pattern and variances.
• Observe cardiac monitors and alarms to identify abnormal rhythms.
• Inform the RN of variances and provide shift reports as requested.
• Complete required documentation according to standards.
• Measure rhythm length on graphic tape and post in patient records.
• Triages tele services for appropriateness with supervisor.
• Process orders accurately and timely.
• Answer telephone and call lights; relay information to patients and staff.
