Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a Telemetry Unit Clerk to monitor patients' heart rhythms, document data, and support the nursing team during 36 hours per week night shifts in Janesville, WI.

Responsibilities include reviewing rhythm patterns, communicating with RNs, processing orders, and maintaining patient records. Candidates should have a GED or higher and complete Mercy Health telemetry training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of Mercy Health telemetry course.
• Ability to read and interpret cardiac rhythms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient information to determine normal heart rhythm pattern and variances.
• Observes cardiac monitor screens and identifies abnormal rhythms.
• Notifies RN of variances and provides shift reports as requested.
• Completes required documentation for standards.
• Processes orders accurately and timely.
